Overall Status:

๐ŸŸข - All systems are functioning normally

Outage Information:

October 28-29th

Last night at 20:05 our hosting provider has a catastrophic failure in the hard drives we use to store bookings, affecting around 15% of venues and, in total, 342 bookings.

Initially this fully removed those venues function to take and receive bookings along with all booking data.

Our backup and emergency procedures for this kicked in immediately. Within 20 minutes affected venues were able to make bookings again and by 21:20 full bookings had been restored.

Bookings taken between 20:05 and 21:20 have been manually re-entered into the system. However, there are some bookings during this time that may have:

  • Payment details not displaying correctly - Restored across the site as of 10:08

  • Guest types not displaying correctly

  • Tables not being assigned

There may also be a small number of bookings that haven't been recovered but will show as booked by customers. We are doing our best to find and restore these onto the system.

Notification emails between 20:05 on the 28th and 07:00 on the 29th were placed into a queue to avoid triggering spam filters and all emails have now been sent.

October 26th

An issue where customers could either book without having paid the deposit, paid the deposit twice, or have a booking go through as confirmed for them but unconfirmed for venues has been identified and resolved. It affected bookings between Friday 25th and Saturday 26th.

This was being caused due to the way we have to hold and handle time out bookings across a huge range of devices, and affected less than 0.5% of bookings.
