Understanding Sessions
A session is a bookable event for your business. It's where you'll set up most of the important rules for your online form. You can see all your sessions on the session page (Settings → Sessions).
Sessions can be linked together, or can act entirely seperate of each other. In fact, by default, each session is really it’s own independent booking form.
Your booking form will display all your active sessions, and each session will be linked to a set of opening hours to be bookable. Check out our getting started video to see this in action.
Multiple Sessions
Many venues only need to set up a single session, but if you have multiple areas with different rules, or want to set up different types of experience using one form, you can do so with multiple sessions.
You might use multiple sessions to set up different type of regular booking:

Or to allow customers to be able to pick different areas of your venue:

Multiple sessions can be made to work together towards one capacity total, or act totally independently of each other. You can learn more about how this works in our capacity group section.
