Sending Different Emails Per Session With Email Groups

Easily customise emails based on what type of booking your customer has made.

By default, BookingNinja will send out the same email information to every booking.

But sometimes, you may want to give people different information based on what they've booked.

This is especially helpful if your bookings are for very different experiences, such as normal sessions and parties, or a pub that does table bookings but also allows for private venue hire that needs additional information.

Using Email Groups


1. Create a new email group

You can create new email group in your regular email settings.

Simply give your group a name and click "create group"


Each email within that group can then be edited as usual.

2. Link your email group to your session

To then link a session to a particular group, select the group in the sessions settings page, in the basic details section.


Using Session Tags For Small Changes

If you want to add a line or two of extra info to a session but don't want to make a new group, you can also use the Anything in this tag will only be sent to people booking that session.

This is helpful if you just want to add few lines, but keep in mind that anything NOT in the tag will be sent to all sessions. The session number can be found on your sessions list page. Hey there,
