Generally when properly set up, BookingNinja will disable a time slot or event when you’ve reached capacity, which could mean all your tickets being sold, tables being used or booking totals being hit.
If you’re finding yourself needing to manually turn booking times or events off, there is likely an automatic solution that we can use to help make this easier and less manual / error prone, so please get in touch with us via chat.
Manually Closing Off Time Slots / Shutting Early For the Day
You can shut down specific time periods and sessions using venue closures. These do not need to be whole day closures, and be used to shut down just one session.
You can also simply add a fake booking of whatever amount of guests you need to reach your max limits for that time slot. This method may be slighter faster if you only want to close slot, and will be more visible to your team on the list / gantt view. However, it requires you to accurately provide the right amount of guests to close the booking fully.
Manually Closing Single Day Events
You can disable an event from showing at all by turning off “highlighted” in the event section, but keep in mind if you’ve linked out a direct URL, customers can still access this.
For ticketed events, you can also just set your ticket amounts to 0 from whatever they happen to be right now, which will show all tickets as sold out.
Manually Closing Multi Date Events
You can disable a multi date event by removing the day and time slot from the list on your per session settings.
